As we near the 2020 U.S. presidential election, more potential democratic candidates are being revealed. The latest in these entries is United States Senator Bernie Sanders.

Sanders announced his run earlier this morning, one day after President’s Day, via his social media.
“I’m running for president. I am asking you to join me today as part of an unprecedented and historic grassroots campaign that will begin with at least 1 million people from across the country.”
This will be the senator’s second run for the democratic presidential candidate after his initial run in the primaries against Hilary Clinton, for the democratic candidate in 2016.
The 77 year-old Vermont Senator’s campaign message is somewhat similar to that of 2016. If elected he promises to enforce his democratic socialist policies; to expand health care, broaden the social safety net and make tertiary education free.
Prior to this announcement, there were speculations of whether or not he would be running this year. This was mainly due to the backlash he received in his prior run for his socialistic promises for the country.
However, now Senator Bernie Sanders is one of the front runners for the democratic candidacy, alongside Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Cory Booker.
What do you say Bernie Sanders for 2020?! 🤨
