After months of waiting, former attorney of President Trump, Michael Cohen will tell his side of the story in court.
According to sources, Cohen is said to be discussing and providing evidence of President Donald Trump’s alleged criminal collusion since becoming President. The attorney will be detailing his allegations of the President’s lies, racism, cheating as a private businessman, as well as provide lawmakers with insight into Trump’s financial statement.
ichael Cohen’s court hearing will be over a period of three days beginning on Tuesday, February 26 for a closed-door testimony. The public hearing before the House Oversight Committee will be on the following day, Wednesday, February 27 and concludes on Thursday, when he will testify before the House Intelligence Committee.
If you recall, Michael Cohen was indicted on several charges that includes five counts of tax evasion, one count of making an excessive campaign contribution at the request of a candidate or campaign. As well as, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution and one count of making false statements to a financial institution.
American lobbyist Roger Stone, was also an associate of President Trump who was indicted shortly after Cohen.
