Hollywood is in mourning after “Beverly Hills 90210” actor Luke Perry, passed away at the age of 52.
The actor took his final breath yesterday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank with sources saying that he died from complications from a stroke he suffered last week. Sources close to him stated that though he passed on Monday morning, he was surrounded by his family, his son Jack and daughter Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, as well as his ex-wife, mother, step-father, sister and brother.
If you recall the star had suffered a massive stroke last Wednesday, that caused him to be immediately hospitalized. Sadly the “Riverdale” star was unable to recover from the medical issues.
Since the news, there have been many tributes to the actor from fans, friends and coworkers in the industry. His co-stars Shannen Doherty and Lili Reinhart even posted a tear jerking message to Twitter Reinhart saying, “I’m finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us.I just can’t believe it.”
Perry’s hit show, “Riverdale” even shut down production of the tv show. They executive of the show also stated that, “Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all.”
They also stated that, “A father figure and mentor to the show’s young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness. Our thoughts are with Luke’s family during this most difficult time.”
