The champion of women’s rights, two time breast cancer survivor, and the undisputed Queen of Calypso, Calypso Rose, made history as the oldest artiste to perform at Coachella Vally Music and Arts Festival. And boy did she light Coachella on fireπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯.

The 78 years old Trinidad and Tobago born artiste, had a grand performance last weekend, at one of the biggest annual music festivals, bringing out Soca powerhouse, Machel Montano and Jamaica’s Walshy Fire of Major Lazer. The trio definitely brought down the house during their forty-five minute set and fans were loving it.

Calypso Rose even made her TMZ debut today, to discuss making history, as the oldest person to perform at the festival. During her performance, she fell down, and just as she does in her everyday life, she got back on her feet and she continued to dance, sing and keep the crowd energized.

Rose has won various awards during her reign as the “Calypso Queen Of The World”, as well as, an advocate for women and we could not be happier for her.

Cheers to the Queen. #Calypso Rose.

Congratulations Calypso Rose! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸ‘
