While many are kickstarting their summer holiday on the beach or at a carnival, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, is kickstarting hers, naked and with a possible lawsuit.
According to reports, explicit images taken by photographer, Nino Muñoz, of GQ Magazine in 2016, have recently been released to the public. The pictures show the rapper posing with her boobs completely exposed, in nothing but a pair of white pajama shorts. And needless to say, Iggy was pissed.
She took to her social media account to let out her frustration saying,
“I hadn’t seen other women’s covers leak so I felt comfortable (on a closed set) to model for such a reputable magazine knowing only the images with my hands covering [my breasts] would be considered for print“
Azalea continued to say that she was shocked that the images taken three years ago weren’t deleted the minute that they weren’t chosen for the magazine. She revealed that she felt violated and blindsided, embarrassed, angry and sad, among other things.
She ended the message saying,
“I fully intend on finding out where the leak originated from and pressing criminal charges in regards to this. It’s important to me that someone actually be held accountable for their actions & the way it impacts my life.” Many fans take to this to mean that she is planning to sue whoever is responsible.
The photographer even responded to the nude leaks saying,
“My heart goes out to anyone this situation has affected. I’m utterly outraged and will not rest until justice is served.I’m outraged and saddened to find out that images of mine were stolen and published without my permission. There is currently an investigation underway. Posting these stolen images is illegal and anyone who has done so will be prosecuted.”
