Special Counsel Robert Mueller, has finally given us his testimony on the findings of the Russian investigation report. In fact he gave us much more than we expected. He resigned!

Mueller made an appearance at a press conference at the Department of Justice where he announced his shocking resignation and how he could not and would not have indicted President Donald Trump. He stated that,
“I am speaking out today because our investigation is complete. The Attorney General has made the report on our investigation largely public. I am formally closing the Special Counsel’s office, as well, I’m resigning from the Department of Justice to return to private life.”

He went on to discuss their conclusion on the investigation stating that there was no evidence suggesting that the President was involved in collusion. He, however stated that, there were several attempts by Russia to interfere with the US elections. Russian intelligence allegedly launched an attack through Wikileaks,
“timed to interfere with our election and to damage a presidential candidate.”
Much to the disappointment of many viewers, Robert revealed that since the Special Counsel is apart of the DOJ and their policies stated that the president could not be charged with a federal crime while in office, they couldn’t pursue that option. However, he did not clear the President of a crime.
On the topic of his testimony, Special Counsel Mueller blatantly said that,
“Any testimony from this office would not go beyond our report. It contains our findings and analysis and the reasons for the decisions we made. We chose those words carefully and the work speaks for itself. And the report is my testimony.”
This marks Mr. Mueller-s first and final words on the Russian investigation since he was assigned to it two years ago. He ended his statement saying,
“I will close by reiterating the central allegation of our indictments, that there were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election. And that allegation deserves the attention of every American.“
As expected, President Trump did not hesitate to tweet his own input now the investigation has concluded.

I guess that is it for Russian Investigation. Now on to the elections! What do you think? Should Democrats/Congress pursue the impeachment of President Trump?
