While 24 candidates are hoping to become the democratic nominee for the US 2020 elections, President Donald Trump has already picked his front runner. POTUS is eager to run against Vice President, Joe Biden; democratic frontrunner and former Vice President.

As he left the White House on Tuesday, Trump told reporters, he likes running against “mentally weak” opponents” and he thinks “Sleepy Joe”, one of his nicknames for Biden, is just that.. weak.
“I’d rather run against I think Biden than anybody,” Mr. Trump told reporters Tuesday. “I think he’s the weakest mentally. And I like running against people that are weak mentally. I think Joe is the weakest up here. The other ones have much more energy. I don’t agree with their policies, but I think Joe is a man who is, I call him one percent Joe. Because until Obama came along he didn’t do very well. But look, but I don’t bring him up.”

Trump’s insults towards Joe Biden are not new, as last month after a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong On, he tweeted,
“Kim Jong Un called him a ‘low IQ idiot,’ and many other things, whereas I related the quote of Chairman Kim as a much softer ‘low IQ individual.’ Who could possibly be upset with that?”
The President is vocal about his preferences and early numbers are suggesting that he may in fact be running against Joe Biden for the next Presidential term. Joe Biden is currently up against Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Corey Booker, Kamala Harris and many others for democratic nomination.
Does Vice President Biden have what it takes to defeat the other democratic candidates out? Additionally, does he have what it takes to beat President Trump at the polls?
We are all just going to have to wait and see.
