Cheryl Hickey of ET Canada caught up with Oprah while she was in Canada doing promo for her newest piece of literature, The Path Made Clear: Discovering Your Life’s Direction and Purpose. During their interview, the 65 year old Winfrey confessed that she misses her show and has thought about rebooting it.

The Oprah Winfrey Show’s last episode aired on May 25, 2011 after a very successful 23 season run. The Queen of Talk as she is commonly referred to, was nominated for 67 awards and took home 38. By looking at these stats, its clear that the show was a hit and a reboot may not be a bad idea after all.

Oprah also confesses though, that while rebooting has run across her mind a couple times, it’s not everyday that she wants to be in front the camera.

I would love to make that happen, let me tell you. But maybe not every day,” Winfrey confided. “For 25 years, it was perfect.”

Oprah added, “The only time I missed it was during the election or when something really big happens in the news. I think, ‘Oh, gee, I wish I had a show.'”
