It is no secret that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to raise their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, away from the public eye. But are they being overprotective parents?

As many of you already know, Archie’s christening is set to take place this weekend on Saturday, July 6, in a private ceremony with only close friends amongst the royal family. However, the “royal watchers” are a bit uneasy since they have not seen baby Archie, since his birth, about two months ago. One source complained,

Meghan can’t demand privacy for baby Archie while asking the public to fund her family’s lifestyle.”

In the meantime, both Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been very present in their individual, royal duties and for fun. The couple was recently seen at the first MLB London series game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees and Prince Harry was even spotted solo at the UK’s first National Youth Mentoring Summit.

As for the Duchess, she took a small break from her maternity leave to watch one of her bestfriends, tennis star, Serena Williams, in a tennis match at Wimbledon. She wasn’t the only one there to support Serena as Lindsay Roth and Genevieve Hillis, the rumored godparents of Archie who will be attending the christening, were there as well.

Shockingly, one very important person will not be attending Archie’s christening, Queen Elizabeth II. We are told that she had already made plans to spend the weekend with the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip, at Sandringham.

Oh well, who knows what may happen at this christening…maybe that’s why there are no cameras allowed! 🤔
