Another one bites the dust, as Labor Secretary, Alexander Acosta, is resigning after the role he played in billionaire sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein’s federal investigation.
According to reports, The President of the United States, Donald Trump made the announcement that Acosta called him to say that he would be resigning as Labour Secretary. He revealed,
“This was him, not me, because I’m with him. He’s a tremendous talent. He’s a Hispanic man, he went to Harvard. We’re going to miss him.”

This announcement came shortly after Acosta took questions from the press regarding him defending Epstein’s case. Epstein was being allegedly investigated for heinous and pervasive sex crimes, witness tampering, harassment, and other obstructive behaviors.

He told the press on Wednesday,
“I thought the right thing was to step aside. I do not think it is right and fair for this administration’s Labor department to have Epstein as the focus rather than the incredible economy that we have today… It would be selfish for me to stay in this position and continue talking about a case that’s 12 years old, rather than about the amazing economy we have right now.”
As many of you may have seen, Alex, negotiated a deal over a decade ago that allowed Epstein to avoid federal prosecution and do some time for litte over a year. However, when new victims resurfaced this week, the DOJ became pressured to reveal the status of the internal probe on Epstein’s case.
We are told that Acosta’s resignation will be effective in one week.
