It seems like Tamar Braxton isn’t the only singer this week to legally end things with her ex, as powerhouse singer, Jennifer Hudson and her ex, David Otunga have come to a custody agreement.

According to sources, two years after their split, Jennifer and her ex-fiance David Otunga, have finally settled on a custody agreement on their 10 year-old son, David Jr. We are told by a representative that,

They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son. Please respect her privacy at this time.”

If you recall a few years ago, JHud claimed to be a victim of mental and physical abuse by David, stating that he became even more aggressive among other things. However, David’s attorney stated that,

Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today’s climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him. Mr. Otunga looks forward to his day in court and in being awarded the residential care of the parties’ only child.”

Though there are no details about the custody agreement due to a gag order issued when the issue first went to court, we hope everything goes well.

Still, that is one less thing for the singer to worry about, since her new movie trailer “Cats” isn’t really sitting well with some fans. The trailer for the upcoming star studded musical including, James Corden, Rebel Wilson, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba and many others, received a totally unexpected reaction from social media.

Critics and fans of the stars either complained about how much CGI was used or how the movie looks more like a horror than a musical.

Yikes!

Oh well. At least Jennifer Hudson won’t have any family stuff to deal with…one less thing to think about!
