South African comedian, Trevor Noah, is the 4th highest paid comedian in the world! According to Forbes magazine, he is behind Kevin Hart , who is #1, followed by Jerry Senfield, Jim Gaffigan, and Amy Schumer (the lone woman) on the list.
According to Forbes, Noah made an estimated $28 million last year, approximately R430 million. The Daily Show Host, made Forbes’ list for the first time after collecting most of his revenue from his stand up gigs around the US, his Netflix special, “Son Of Patricia ” and his bestselling book, “Born a Crime”.
Trevor Noah has never been shy about his humble upbringing and all the struggles he faced along the way, after he and his mother were abused by his step father, back in South Africa. He took a leap of faith and came to America after starting a successful career in comedy back in South Africa. And that move has definitely paid off!
He can be seen most nights on The Daily Show on Comedy Central , where he roasts President Trump and many others. Noah is a fan favorite and is known for his intelligent humor and quick wit. He recently posted to a quote to his Instagram which says,
