It seems like Meghan McCain of “The View,” does not only have on air clashes with her fellow co-hosts but will clash with guests as well.

On Friday’s episode of the popular talk show, actress turned activist Pamela Anderson sat in the guest’s chair and had quite the argument with McCain.

The topic at hand was Julian Assange, Pamela’s “romantic” interest. As you may know, Assange, founder of Wikileaks, has been accused of coordinating with Russian intelligence to release emails from the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 election campaign.

In 2012, after being accused of computer related crimes in the US, he was granted asylum and has since been kept at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

During the talk show, Anderson said that Assange’s health had deteriorated significantly and the US population was falling for a smear campaign that was designed against him.

McCain questioned Anderson about a claim of Assange being kicked out of the Ecuadorian embassy for defecating everywhere. Anderson response was simply that it wasn’t true and asked McCain what would she do if she were locked in a room for 6 years.

Well, I wouldn’t be a cyberterrorist, which he is,” McCain answered. “He hacked information. WikiLeaks included classified documents that put our national security at risk, our military.”

“You know who put national security at risk? The military,” Anderson responded, before eliciting cheers from the studio audience with her next statement.

“How many people have the American government killed innocently and how many has WikiLeaks killed? The military has put many innocent lives at risk,” Anderson said.

Both ladies continued going at each other for some time but it ended by Anderson saying,

“He just believes in justice, believes in honesty, believes in exposing governments for what they’re really doing and [that] people have the right to know what is happening,” she said. “And there are so many awful war crimes that need to be exposed. His whole intention is to stop these senseless wars.”

He’s a cyberterrorist! I mean, I’ll say it. It’s ridiculous. I’m not going to stand by this. It’s ridiculous.” Meghan shouted as she made sure to get the last words in.

Meghan has previously discussed her role on the show as she is the conservative voice. She has said that although it isn’t always pleasant, she enjoys it and thinks that it’s one of the reasons behind the show’s continued success.

“I think that’s why people like the show. They know it’s not scripted and they know we’re not being phony and I’m not trying to placate to an audience,” McCain said. “I always say we’re like the only show that [talks] about J.Lo and A-Rod and North Korea in the same show, and I think that’s important.”
