Footballer Antonio Brown maybe in some serious trouble, if sexual allegations from his former trainer, Britany Taylor, are true. Brown was supposed to start training with his new team, the Patriots, today, with whom he signed a lucrative 20 million deal. Since learning of the lawsuit file against Brown, the team has delayed his start and issued a statement saying they take these allegations “very seriously”.
Taylor filed very detailed accusations in her court documents. She accuses Brown of raping her and masterbating behind her back while she was watching television, and then ejaculating on her. She alleges that she tried ending their business relationship, but was later persuaded by Brown to continue after he apologized for his inappropriate behavior. She claims that he raped her again in May 2018.
In a statement released by her lawyers, she said,
According to Brown’s lawyer, Darren Heitner, Brown
‘will leave no stone unturned and will aggressively defend himself, including exercising all of his rights in countersuits.’
This is a serious set back for Brown.
In the meantime, he is receiving public support from former NFL player, OJ Simpson, (who has had the trial of the century, after he was accused of killing his wife Nicole Brown- Simpson and her alleged lover, Ron Goldman) who posted a video to Twitter saying,
“Nothing I know about Anonio would make me think he would do something like that.”
He went on to say,
“Let’s make one thing clear, he was accused not charged, but I don’t know how it is going to affect him.”
Not sure if Antonio needs OJ Simpson speaking on his behalf on this particular issue. However, Simpson may want to advise him on the best lawyers to defend him.
