HAPPINESS WON’T FIND YOU. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND HAPPINESS.

Happiness is not something you find when everything finally goes right.

It is not waiting for you at the end of the next goal, the next relationship, the next promotion, the next vacation, or the next version of your life.

Happiness is something you have to choose before everything is perfect.

Too many of us keep postponing joy.

We say:

I’ll be happy when I make more money.

I’ll be happy when I lose the weight.

I’ll be happy when my business takes off.

I’ll be happy when someone finally loves me the way I deserve.

I’ll be happy when life gets easier.

But what if happiness is not the reward at the end?

What if happiness is part of how you get there?

You are allowed to want more for your life and still appreciate the life you have today.

You can be ambitious and grateful.

You can be healing and happy.

You can be building something bigger and still enjoy where you are standing right now.

Please don’t become so focused on your next chapter that you forget to live this one.
