Faith Does Not Require Pretending You Are Fine

Hey Friends ❤️

Here is your Daily Power Note From Basia.

Some of us were taught to believe that strong faith means always looking strong.

Always sounding positive.

Always saying:

“God is good.”

“I’m blessed.”

“Everything is fine.”

Even when everything does not feel fine.

But real faith does not require pretending.

You can trust God and still feel tired.

You can believe and still feel disappointed.

You can pray and still feel afraid.

You can know God is with you and still admit:

“This is hard.”

That does not make your faith weak.

It makes your faith honest.

Sometimes we use spiritual language to avoid telling the truth about how we actually feel.

We say:

“I’m trusting God.”

But underneath that sentence, we may also be carrying grief.

Fear.

Confusion.

Anger.

Exhaustion.

And I believe God can handle all of it.

You do not have to clean up your emotions before you pray.

You do not have to pretend to be peaceful when you are overwhelmed.

You do not have to act strong when you are hurting.

Prayer is not a performance.

It is a conversation.

And real conversations require honesty.

Sometimes faith sounds like:

“God, I trust You.”

And sometimes it sounds like:

“God, I want to trust You, but I am struggling today.”

Both can be faith.

Because the goal is not to impress God with how composed you are.

The goal is to stay connected.

Bring Him the truth.

Bring Him the fear.

Bring Him the disappointment.

Bring Him the questions.

Bring Him the tired version of you.

You do not need perfect words.

You need honesty.

And sometimes that honesty is where the healing begins.

TODAY’S POWER MOVE

Take five quiet minutes today and finish this sentence:

“God, if I am being completely honest, right now I feel…”

Do not edit it.

Do not make it sound spiritual.

Do not minimize it.

Tell the truth.

Then pray from that place.

TODAY’S POWER LINE

Faith does not require pretending you are fine. Honest faith brings the truth into prayer instead of hiding behind spiritual language.

You can trust God and still be human.

You can believe and still need rest.

You can have faith and still need help.

P.S. God does not need the polished version of you. Bring Him the real one.
