My Epic Moments of 2018

2018 was an epic year! My best year ever. I think that it is due to the fact that I lived my truth. It did not make me money or made me happy, it made no sense. It was not happening. That being said. Here are My Epic Moments of 2018:

• Trinidad and Tobago Carnival

The year started on an epic note with the “Greatest Show on earth”, Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2018. I do not have the words to describe this experience to you, but you can read the blog I wrote on my experience. What I will say is whatever you are suffering from, will leave your body once you arrive in Trinidad, for carnival. The only problem is, your affliction will return on Ash Wednesday.

• The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry married an African American divorcee(The British refers to her as mixed race) and I flew to London to witness this once in a lifetime occasion. It was magical! We even met Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell and we were interviewed by the BBC along with Princes’ Charles, William and Harry’s former butler, Grant Harold.

• Interviewing Robin Roberts and Gayle King

My Third epic moment is interviewing two of my media “sheroes”, Gayle King and Robin Roberts. This made my year career wise. Interviewing these two amazing women, along with Kevin Frazer from Entertainment tonight, helped solidify my digital media brand in Atlanta. Epic!

• Visit To Dubai

My visit to Dubai was a bucklist trip. I totally enjoyed this experience. Kind of far, but worth it. Will be back for sure.

• Staying at Round Hill in Jamaica

Among my epic experiences was our trip to Jamaica for my girlfriend Gillian’s and her husband Erik’s 15th Wedding Anniversary celebration. We all stayed at Round Hill Montego Bay was amazing!And this is not an ad.

• New Orleans family trip

I love NOLA and though we have been there before, this was special, as we were there to celebrate my aunt Joan’s 70th birthday. Everyday was a new adventure. I never drank so much Hurricanes in my life! The highlight was the food experience and the unconventional way the Jazz musician wished her a Happy Birthday! (private joke)

• Our Unplanned Trip to Qatar

I wrote a blog on this. We did not plan to spend time in Qatar but, it was an amazing experience and we will be back for sure. Some of the best trips are the unplanned ones.

• Received A Clean Bill Of Health

As a cancer thriver, I screen every year. 2018 was no different. My Oncologists insisted on extensive screening this year as I approach the 10 year mark, and I am happy to say that this body is cancer free. Thank you God. That was an epic moment for sure. I am alive!

• Cancun Mexico Trip

At the top of my epic list is my hubby’s 40th Birthday celebration in Cancun Mexico. It was fun, romantic, spontaneous and we will be back. From dinner on the beach, to partying at a club, Cancun was lit. My favorite moment for 2018, for sure.

Overall, 2018 delivered. I grew spiritually, lived my best life and I focused on maintaining happiness. It was all about positive vibes and surrounding myself with positive people.

In 2019, my resolution is to work hard, pray and play harder. Happy New Year everyone. Thank you for following my blog and social media in 2018 and I look forward to entertaining and inspiring you in 2019. Take a look at my video highlights
