Learn to Forgive Yourself.

Hey Friends ❤️

Here is your Daily Power Note From Basia.

It is completely acceptable to forgive yourself.

For many of us, it is much easier to forgive other people than it is to extend that same grace to ourselves.

We replay the decision.

We revisit the mistake.

We question why we stayed so long.

Why we ignored the signs.

Why we did not leave the job sooner.

Why we stayed in the relationship.

Why we remained in the city.

Why we did not speak up.

Why we did not choose ourselves earlier.

And before we know it, we have turned one chapter of our lives into a permanent sentence.

But today, I want you to remember something:

You were making decisions with the level of awareness, courage, information, and strength you had at that time.

You know more now.

You see more now.

You understand more now.

That does not mean you should punish the version of yourself who did not yet know what you know today.

Growth is not supposed to become shame.

Wisdom is not meant to become a weapon against your younger self.

Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is say:

“I forgive myself for not knowing sooner.”

“I forgive myself for staying.”

“I forgive myself for being afraid.”

“I forgive myself for choosing what felt safe.”

“I forgive myself for ignoring my own needs.”

And then move forward.

You do not have to keep paying emotionally for a decision that has already taught you the lesson.

It is never too late to do what you are meant to do.

It is never too late to leave.

It is never too late to begin again.

It is never too late to choose differently.

And it is never too late to look at yourself with compassion instead of criticism.

Today, I pray that you change your lens.

Look at yourself through a more compassionate lens.

Speak to yourself the way you would speak to someone you love.

Give yourself grace.

Give yourself room to grow.

And most of all, give yourself permission to be free from the version of you that you have already outgrown.

TODAY’S POWER MOVE

Think about one thing you still blame yourself for.

Write this sentence:

“I forgive myself for __________.”

Then finish it honestly.

Do not explain it away.

Do not justify it.

Just release it.

TODAY’S POWER LINE

Learn to forgive yourself. You do not have to carry shame for a lesson that has already helped you grow.

You are allowed to move forward.

With love,

Basia ❤️

P.S. Sometimes the person who needs your forgiveness the most is you.
