Hey Friends ❤️
Here is your Daily Power Note From Basia.

It is Monday, and I want to remind you of something before you make any major decisions this week:
Do not make a permanent decision from temporary disappointment.
A difficult day can distort your perspective.
A frustrating conversation can make you believe the entire relationship is wrong.
One disappointing business result can make you question the whole dream.
One rejection can convince you that the opportunity is not meant for you.
One bad week can make you feel as though nothing is working.
But sometimes the problem is not the dream.
Sometimes you are simply tired.
Disappointed.
Frustrated.
Overwhelmed.
Or emotionally exhausted.
And when we are operating from those emotions, everything can look worse than it actually is.
That is why I have learned not to make life-changing decisions in the middle of emotional storms.
Pause first.
Pray.
Rest.
Get quiet.
Allow the disappointment to settle before deciding what it means.
Because not every difficult moment is a sign that you should walk away.
Sometimes it is simply a difficult moment.
There is a difference between something being hard and something being wrong for you.
There is a difference between needing to quit and needing to regroup.
There is a difference between the end of the road and a bad day on the road.
We have to learn how to recognize that difference.
You may feel like resigning today.
Ending the relationship.
Abandoning the business.
Giving up on the dream.
Walking away from something you have spent years building.
But before you do, ask yourself:
“Am I making this decision from clarity or from disappointment?”
That question matters.
Because disappointment has a way of making temporary emotions feel permanent.
And sometimes what you really need is not an exit.
You need sleep.
You need perspective.
You need a conversation.
You need prayer.
You need a new strategy.
You need a few days to remember why you started.
This does not mean you should stay in situations that are harmful, unhealthy, or clearly no longer aligned with who you are.
Sometimes walking away is absolutely the right decision.
But when something still matters to you, give yourself enough emotional space to determine whether you truly want to leave—or whether you simply want the discomfort to stop.
Those are not always the same thing.
TODAY’S POWER MOVE
Think about one situation that has disappointed you recently.
Before making a major decision about it, give yourself a 24-hour pause if circumstances allow.
During that time, do three things:
Pray about it.
Write down the facts without adding your fears.
Then ask yourself:
“If I were calm, rested, and not disappointed, would I still make the same decision?”
If the answer is yes, move forward with clarity.
If the answer is no, give yourself more time.
TODAY’S POWER LINE
Do not make a permanent decision from temporary disappointment. Pause long enough to hear wisdom louder than emotion.
Some things need to end.
Some things simply need another day.
Know the difference.
With love,
Basia ❤️
P.S. You do not have to decide everything today. Sometimes wisdom looks like giving yourself permission to wait until your emotions catch up with your truth.
