Hey Friends ❤️
Here is your Daily Power Note From Basia.
Not Every Thought Deserves a Meeting
Not every thought that enters your mind deserves your attention.
Just because you think something does not make it true.
It does not make it urgent.
It does not make it prophetic.
And it certainly does not mean you need to build your entire day around it.
Sometimes a thought is simply a thought.
But if we are not careful, we can give one fearful thought a full meeting.
We invite it in.
We analyze it.
We replay it.
We create imaginary outcomes.
We give it evidence that does not exist.
And before we know it, one passing thought has turned into anxiety, fear, and sometimes even a bad decision.
Think about how often this happens.
“What if something goes wrong?”
“Maybe they do not like me.”
“What if I fail?”
“What if I lose everything?”
“What if I am making the wrong decision?”
“What if this does not work out?”
And suddenly, you are emotionally responding to something that has not even happened.
That is exhausting.
One of the greatest things I have learned is that I do not have to believe every thought my mind produces.
I can question it.
I can challenge it.
I can ask:
“What evidence do I actually have that this is true?”
That question can change everything.
Because fear loves assumptions.
Fear loves uncertainty.
Fear loves taking a possibility and presenting it as a fact.
But you have the ability to interrupt that process.
The next time a fearful thought enters your mind, do not immediately give it authority.
Ask:
Is this true?
Do I have evidence?
Is this thought helping me solve something—or simply making me afraid?
If there is a real problem, then deal with the real problem.
Make the call.
Get the information.
Create the plan.
Ask the question.
But if there is no evidence and no action to take, maybe the thought does not deserve another minute of your energy.
This does not mean ignoring legitimate concerns.
It means learning the difference between information and imagination.
There is wisdom in paying attention to facts.
There is very little value in allowing fear to write stories for you.
Your mind is powerful.
Protect what you allow to stay there.
TODAY’S POWER MOVE
The next time you catch yourself spiraling around a negative thought, write it down.
Then answer these three questions:
1. What evidence do I have that this is true?
2. Is there something practical I can do about it right now?
3. If not, why am I continuing to give this thought my energy?
Then choose a better thought based on truth, faith, and what you actually know.
TODAY’S POWER LINE
Not every thought deserves a meeting. Some thoughts need to be questioned, dismissed, and denied access to your peace.
Protect your mind.
Question the story.
And stop giving fear authority it has not earned.
With love,
Basia ❤️
P.S. Your thoughts may knock on the door, but you still get to decide which ones you invite inside.
