Hey Friends ❤️
Here is your Daily Power Note From Basia.
Some days you are going to wake up inspired.
You will feel focused.
Excited.
Ready.
You will feel like you can conquer the world.
And then there will be other days when you simply do not feel like doing anything.
That is normal.
The problem begins when we build our dreams around how motivated we feel.
Because motivation is unreliable.
It comes and goes.
It changes with your mood.
Your energy.
Your circumstances.
Your sleep.
Your stress level.
Your environment.
But commitment is different.
Commitment says, “I may not feel like it today, but I made a promise to myself.”
And sometimes that is enough.
You do not have to give 100 percent every single day.
Some days, progress may look like giving 40 percent.
Some days it may be 10 percent.
Some days it may simply mean doing the smallest thing necessary to keep the promise alive.
Writing one paragraph.
Walking for ten minutes.
Making one phone call.
Sending one email.
Saving a little money.
Reading five pages.
Recording one idea.
Doing one thing instead of nothing.
Because small promises kept consistently begin to change the way you see yourself.
Every time you do what you said you were going to do, you build self-trust.
You begin proving to yourself:
“I can depend on me.”
That matters.
A lot of us are waiting to become more motivated when what we really need is to become more committed.
Motivation may get you started.
But commitment is what keeps you going when the excitement wears off.
And the excitement always wears off eventually.
That is where discipline steps in.
This is why I believe you should make your promises to yourself small enough to keep, but important enough to matter.
Do not tell yourself you are going to completely transform your life tomorrow.
Choose one thing.
And do it.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Consistency does not always look impressive.
But eventually it produces results that are.
TODAY’S POWER MOVE
Choose one promise you will keep to yourself today, even if you do not feel motivated.
Make it specific.
I will walk for 20 minutes.
I will write one page.
I will make the call.
I will work on my business for 30 minutes.
I will go to bed on time.
Then keep the promise.
Not because you feel inspired.
Because you said you would.
TODAY’S POWER LINE
Motivation is optional. Commitment must still show up.
You do not have to feel ready every day.
You simply have to keep moving.
One promise.
One action.
One day at a time.
With love,
Basia ❤️
P.S. The goal is not to become someone who is always motivated. The goal is to become someone who can trust herself to keep going even when she is not. Don’t forget to subscribe to this blog and our YouTube Channel @BasiaTVCHannel
